Man wounded in shooting near KCI
Kansas City police are investigating an early Tuesday morning shooting at a hotel near Kansas City International Airport.
Police said the victim suffered a non-life threatening wound to the leg.
The incident was reported just before 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 11800 block of Northwest Plaza Circle Drive.
The victim was inside a room when a bullet fired from outside struck him.
