Bales Avenue standoff leads to arrest of robbery suspects

Police took two men into custody early this morning after a standoff outside a residence that started last night.

Police officers at around 8:20 p.m. chased two robbery suspects to a house in the 7100 block of Bales Avenue. The suspects, who are now facing stolen auto, felony eluding and robbery charges, refused to come out of the house.

Police eventually took the two into custody at 1:45 a.m.
