Final She’s A Pistol suspect released from hospital

The last suspect wounded in the robbery attempt that left a Shawnee gun store owner dead last month has been released from the hospital.

DeAnthony Wiley, 20, had been hospitalized since the Jan. 9 robbery attempt that led to an exchange of gunfire at She’s A Pistol. The store’s co-owner, Jon Bieker, was fatally wounded, and two other suspects besides Wiley were injured.

Wiley was booked into the Johnson County Jail Thursday afternoon. Four suspects are now in the jail facing a first-degree felony murder charge in Bieker’s death.

An April 20 preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wiley, Hakeem Malik, 18, Nicquan Midgyett, 19 and Londro Patterson III, 20.
