Mail truck stolen in KC

Someone jumped in a U.S. Postal Service truck and drove off from the 300 block of Park Avenue on Friday morning in Kansas City.

The driver fled police at speeds of 25 to 40 mph, Kansas City police said in a tweet posted about 11:25 a.m. Friday.

“Mail = federal offense,” the tweet added.
