Flash mob leads to group shoplifting at convenience store

About 50 people rushed into a 7-Eleven convenience store early Sunday, and many ran out with item without paying.

The thefts happened at 1:22 a.m. at the store at Linwood and Gillham Plaza. The mob arrived in two groups. Some paid for their items while others grabbed items and ran out of the door without paying.

No one was reportedly hurt.

Police released a video of the incident and asked the public’s help in identifying the individuals suspected of shoplifting.
