Investigators seek to interview man about Gladstone fatal shooting

Investigators want to interview a 21-year-old man about the shooting death of another man last week in Gladstone.

Police said they would like to speak to John R. Thibeaux, who also is being sought on separate outstanding warrants for traffic and illegal weapons charges.

Marc A. Bogart, 19, of Kansas City was found mortally wounded July 21 while sitting in the back seat of a vehicle parked at apartment complex in the 6900 block of North Bales Avenue.

The Metro Squad convened to investigate the homicide but disbanded last week without making an arrest. Gladstone police are continuing to investigate.
