Police look at suspicious death in KC

Kansas City police are investigating a suspicious death Monday afternoon.

Police responded just before 3 p.m. to an ambulance call about a man down in a back yard in the 2900 block of Monroe Avenue. Medical crews were treating the man for a life-threatening condition. He died at a hospital.

Initial reports were that the man had a gunshot wound. The medical examiner is investigating.
