$7,000 reward offered in KC homicide
A reward of up to $7,000 is being offered for information in the killing of a man last week at a heavily-traveled southeast Kansas City intersection.
Adrian S. Reed, 43, was shot to death Wednesday night while sitting in his car at a stoplight at the intersection of Bannister and James A. Reed roads. Witnesses told police that the occupants of another vehicle may have been involved in a verbal altercation with Reed just before the shooting.
An anonymous donor added $5,000 to the $2,000 being offered through the TIPS Hotline for information leading to an arrest.
Callers can remain anonymous. The TIPS Hotline number is 816-474-8477.
