Pickup truck sought in fatal pedestrian crash in Lenexa

The Kansas Highway Patrol is continuing to search for the vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian Saturday night in Lenexa.

Steven H. Schuster, 19, of Pataskala, Ohio, was killed just before 6 p.m. Saturday where southbound U.S. 69 splits from southbound Interstate 35.

The patrol said he was struck by a charcoal gray mid-size Toyota pickup truck missing the front chrome grill on its passenger side. The truck exited U.S. 69 at 95th Street and last was seen heading west, according to the patrol.
