Man convicted of murder involving a drunken dispute
A Kansas City man was found guilty of second-degree murder Friday in the shooting death of a friend after a drunken dispute.
A jury found that Larry Clay, 55, killed Joel M. White, 45, in March 2013. His body was found in the driveway of Clay’s residence at 9200 Eastern Ave. Witnesses said the two had a fight and Clay followed White outside, where he shot him. The shooting was also captured on video.
White was unarmed. Clay was also convicted of armed criminal action.
