Lee’s Summit woman pleads guilty in designer drug case
A Lee’s Summit woman pleaded guilty in Kansas federal court Friday to conspiring to distribute at least $16 million in synthetic marijuana and other drugs.
Cindy McRoberts, 49, was an employee of Olathe businesses that produced and sold the drugs. As an office manager she picked up shipments of chemicals and transported illegal substances and chemicals between warehouses, prosecutors said.
A judge set her sentencing for April 27.
