A former employee of Burns & McDonnell pleaded guilty Monday to stealing $200,000 worth of computers and related equipment from the Kansas City-based engineering firm.

Kevin Alan Roseler, 40, of Odessa, Mo., pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to a charge of mail fraud.

According to the plea agreement filed Monday, Roseler was a section manager in the firm’s IT department and stole new and used laptop computers, docking stations, video cards and hard drives.

He then advertised the stolen equipment on eBay and used the U.S. Postal Service to ship the equipment to customers across the United States and in five foreign countries, according to the plea agreement.

He will be sentenced after a presentence report is completed.
