Overland Park woman is accused of DUI with children in car
An Overland Park woman involved in two Monday morning crashes has been charged with driving drunk with two children in her car.
Lisa Elizabeth Miller, 45, also is charged in Johnson County District Court with two counts of aggravated child endangerment, leaving the scene of a crash and refusing to take a breath test.
She appeared in court on the charges Tuesday afternoon and was released from custody later Tuesday after posting bond.
The incident occurred Monday morning in the area of 75th Street and Lowell Avenue, near an elementary school.
Police said Miller had dropped off the two children before the wrecks.
No injuries were reported. She is due back in court May 26.
