Man tells Kansas City police he escaped kidnappers
A Leavenworth man told Kansas City police he escaped Tuesday morning from two kidnappers who forced him into the trunk of a vehicle and drove him to Kansas City, North.
He reported the incident to police about 8 a.m. Tuesday in the neighborhood when the kidnapping ended.
He described being kidnapped and said that when he kicked out the backseat in the moving vehicle, the kidnappers pulled over at 86th Street and North Green Hills Road and fled.
Police later arrested two suspects just north of Missouri 152 and Green Hills Road in Kansas City, North.
