Multiple vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, were involved in a traffic crash early Monday afternoon that closed westbound Interstate 435 in Overland Park for several hours.

The incident occurred about 12:30 p.m. Monday near the Quivira Road exit.

Overland Park police said that seven vehicles were involved, according to initial reports. A number of people reported injuries, but none of the injuries were serious, police said.
