Clay County deputies arrest man impersonating officer
Clay County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man early Friday suspected of impersonating a law enforcement officer.
Workers at the North Kansas City School District transportation annex alerted deputies about a man claiming to work for the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. He told them he was looking for someone when he showed up about 7 a.m. at the transportation facility in the 2800 block of Northeast Shoal Creek Parkway, near Staley High School.
Deputies are investigating a similar incident that occurred May 6, according to the sheriff’s office.
