Man is charged with indecent exposure at Olathe park

A 24-year-old Olathe man was charged Friday with exposing himself at a city park.

Munoz Mayorga was charged in Johnson County District Court with a misdemeanor count of lewd and lascivious behavior.

According to Olathe police, a woman called Thursday afternoon to report that the man had exposed himself at Water Works Park in the 800 block of South Curtis Street.

She told police that the man had his pants down and was masturbating while standing in a tree line near a pond.

Olathe officers arrived and took Mayorga into custody.

He was booked into the Johnson County jail on Thursday night.
