A man charged in connection with a pipe bomb incident in Leavenworth has been arrested, police said Friday.

Simon Pohl, 32, is charged in Leavenworth County District Court with criminal use of an explosive device and possession of methamphetamine, according to prosecutors.

Leavenworth police had sent out a notice Thursday that Pohl was being sought.

Police said Friday morning that he was arrested overnight, allegedly driving a stolen vehicle in Hiawatha, Kan.

Explosive devices reportedly damaged two vehicles in Leavenworth in April and May. No injuries were reported.

The charges stem from an incident April 19.

Pohl previously spent time in prison on drug-related offenses, according to Kansas Department of Corrections records.
