Shooting early Sunday leaves two with minor injuries

Kansas City police are investigating a double shooting early Sunday that left two victims with minor injuries.

The incident happened about 2:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Woodland Avenue. Officers were sent to a residence where the occupant said a man who had been shot knocked on their door.

Officers determined the shooting occurred at 18th Street and Woodland Ave. They later located a second victim at a hospital.
