Man’s body found in Raytown garage

Raytown police officers were interviewing a person of interest Wednesday following the discovery of a dead man in a garage.

Officers responding at about 4:30 a.m. to a home in the 8900 block of Rose Lane found the body. As of Wednesday afternoon, the department had not classified the incident as a homicide, said James Brafford, department public information officer.

“It is still under investigation,” he said.
