Customers inside Kansas City clothing store shoot at each other

Two customers opened fire on each other Saturday inside a Kansas City clothing store at 63rd Street and the Paseo.

No injuries were reported but notable damage occurred inside the City Gear store in the 1600 block of East 63rd Street.

Police said the incident happened just after 1 p.m. Two customers began arguing about a previous disagreement. Both brandished weapons and began shooting. A third person also began shooting, police said.

There was no shooting victim at the store when police arrived. No one with gunshot wounds showed up at any hospitals afterward, police said.

However, there was damage to merchandise, walls and the ceiling inside the store.
