Man who prompted Amber Alert in Kansas City is arrested in St. Louis

A 33-year-old man who allegedly took his newborn daughter and became involved in an Amber Alert issued by Kansas City police was arrested Friday by federal law enforcement officers in St. Louis.

Robert B. Foreman Jr. was at a relative’s residence when taken into custody.

Police issued the Amber Alert on April 11, a day after Foreman allegedly took Amilyah M. Foreman and threatened to harm the baby and her mother.

The baby later was found safe in Kansas City, Kan.

Foreman fled and eluded authorities until Friday.
