A Mission man has been charged with setting a fire inside the garage of an Overland Park house.

No one was injured in the Wednesday night blaze in the 8600 block of West 75th Street.

An Overland Park Fire Department crew that happened to be in the area saw the fire about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday and quickly extinguished it, according to Overland Park police.

Richard F. Blanner, 50, was charged Thursday in Johnson County District Court with a felony count of aggravated arson. His bond is set at $250,000. He remained in custody Friday.

Police said Blanner set the fire after an argument with the person who lived at the home.
