A juvenile has been charged with murder in the February death of another teenager in Kansas City.
Jackson County court officials said the 15-year-old is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Jaiair Strong.
Jaiair, a Raytown High School student who had just turned 15, was shot in the chest Feb. 15 while in the area of U.S. 40 and Willow Road.
Court officials did not release the name of the teen charged because he is a juvenile.

He appeared in court Wednesday for a hearing to determine if he will be certified to stand trial as an adult. A judge took the issue under advisement, according to court officials.
