Reward increases to solve fatal shooting of Lee’s Summit man

A reward of up to $4,000 is being offered for information in the shooting death of a man outside an east Kansas City shopping center.

Jacob Brantner, 39, of Lee’s Summit, was killed the night of April 3 in the 8700 block of East 63rd Street.

Police said he had gone there to sell a firearm.

Detectives said a blue Ford 500 with a sunroof may have been involved.

Authorities said $2,000 has been added to an existing $2,000 reward available for information leading to an arrest in the case.
