KCK fire victim identified

Police on Monday identified a woman killed last week in a Kansas City, Kan., house fire as 53-year-old Carole Young.

Young died at a hospital after firefighters discovered her late Thursday night inside a burning house in the 1000 block of Greeley Avenue.

Fire officials have not said what sparked the fire, which caused an estimate $35,000 damage to the house and its contents.
