Shawnee house hit by gunfire
Shawnee police are investigating after someone fired gunshots into an occupied house.
No one was injured in the early Sunday morning shooting in the 10900 block of West 49th St., according to police.
Police were called to the area about 2:30 a.m. Sunday after someone reported hearing gunshots. On arrival, officers found that shots had been fired into a house.
No suspects have been identified and police are continuing to investigate with help from the Johnson County Crime Lab.
