Man charged with sexually abusing 14-year-old
A Raytown man was charged Friday with sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl, after she told a church official she was being abused.
According to court documents, Steven L. Davis, 55, touched the victim’s genitals and took photographs of her naked body. Police found hundreds of images of naked children, as young as 6 years old, on Davis’ thumb drives. He was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, statutory sodomy and possession of child pornography.
He was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Prosecutors requested $250,000 bond.
