Man admits role in double Kansas City, Kan., shooting
A 26-year-old man has pleaded no contest for his role in the March 2015 fatal shooting of a Kansas City, Kan., man and wounding the victim’s father.
Antonio Alexander McGee of Kansas City entered the plea to second-degree murder in the slaying of Len Mitchell Jr.
At a hearing Thursday in Wyandotte County District Court, McGee also pleaded no contest to aggravated battery in the shooting of Len W. Mitchell Sr.
The shooting occurred in the 1800 block of Rowland Avenue in Kansas City, Kan. The Mitchells were attending an informal gathering with friends.
McGee is scheduled to be sentenced May 20.
