Overland Park police are asking for the public’s help to identify two men they want to talk to an ATM “skimming” incident.

Police said that someone installed the skimming device, which is designed to steal bank or credit card numbers, on an ATM at a local bank on Jan. 10.

A bank customer noticed something strange about the reader and told bank employees, who called police.

The device was in place for less than a day. Police said that they don’t believe anyone’s credit card information was taken.

The investigation is on-going. Anyone who can help identify the men is asked to call Overland Park police at 913-344-8738 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
