Kansas City police investigate shooting near 28th and Olive streets

Kansas City police investigated a shooting Friday night that left one man with life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred in the 2800 block of Olive Street, police said.

The injured man called for help shortly after 9 p.m. from a nearby liquor store at 27th Street and Brooklyn Avenue. He was transported to a hospital.

The investigation continued.
