KCK man admits killing a man who answered an online sex ad
A Kansas City, Kan., man admitted this week that he killed a man who answered an online sex ad.
Ladarrious White, 24, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Wyandotte County District Court to intentional second-degree murder in the death of Jose Solis-Robles.
Prosecutors said White shot Solis-Robles, 31, of Kansas City, last October in the 1400 block of North 18th Street.
Solis-Robles had gone there in response to an ad placed by a “female companion” of White, according to prosecutors.
That woman, 25-year-old Kimberly Winn, of Kansas City, Kan., pleaded no contest Tuesday and was found guilty of aggravated battery and promoting the sale of sexual relations.
White and Winn were also charged with attempted aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, but those charges were dismissed.
White and Winn are to be sentenced April 29.
