Prison ordered in wreck that killed Olathe man
A Gardner man has been sentenced to 12 years and 10 months in prison for a November 2014 crash that killed an Olathe man.
Souksavanh Chamnongchith, 33, was sentenced Monday in Johnson County District Court, where he pleaded guilty in December to involuntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors said Chamnongchith was driving under the influence when his vehicle collided with one driven by 31-year-old Idir Lounes at 159th Street and Old U.S. 56 in Olathe.
