KC police use stun gun to stabbing suspect
Kansas City police officers used a stun gun Friday to subdue a woman who refused to surrender a knife following a stabbing incident.
Officers arrested the woman following an altercation in which a man was stabbed near Southwest Boulevard and Summit Street, according to a police dispatcher.
Police responded to the intersection late Friday afternoon. The man was in surgery following the incident, according to a tweet from Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Fortè.
