KCK police investigate highway shooting on I-70 at I-670
Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Friday afternoon as Kansas City, Kan., police investigated a shooting that injured two people.
The shooting was reported shortly after 5 p.m. at I-70 and Interstate 670, according to police.
Two male teenagers in a Camaro were injured by the gunfire. One was described by police as being in critical condition.
Police Chief Terry Zeigler posted a tweet about the incident.

Police were looking for a 2010-2014 Maroon GMC Envoy in connection with the shooting.
