Human remains found in a wooded area in south Kansas City

Kansas City police are investigating a suspicious death after human remains were discovered Friday in a wooded area.

The remains were reported about 3 p.m. near 107th Sreet and Fuller Avenue. That is west of Blue Ridge Boulevard and south of Interstate 470.
