Kansas City police standoff ends peacefully
A police standoff with a man in a residence in Kansas City’s old Northeast ended peacefully Sunday.
The standoff began Sunday morning in the 400 block of North Elmwood Avenue. Police Chief Darryl Forté tweeted about 3 p.m. that the standoff ended peacefully with the man taken into custody. There were no injuries.
