A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information in the drive-by shooting death of a Kansas City, Kan., infant.
An anonymous donor added $3,000 to the previous $2,000 reward being offered for information leading to an arrest in the killing of 7-month-old Ja’Quail Mansaw.
The little boy, known as “Smoothie,” was fatally shot Jan. 4 when someone in a passing car fired into his family’s home in the 2700 block of Early Street. His mother was slightly wounded in the assault.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
