Woman tries to use stun gun on KCK police officer
A 32-year-old woman was arrested Thursday morning after she allegedly tried to use a stun gun on a Kansas City, Kan., police officer.
The officer was on patrol in the area of 44th Street and Shawnee Drive about 8:30 a.m. when he pulled the woman over for having an expired license plate.
The woman pulled into a parking lot, got out of her car and began to walk away, according to police.
When the officer caught up with her, she turned and applied the weapon to his chest three times, police said. But the officer was wearing a protective vest and it did not harm him.
The woman was arrested and booked into the Wyandotte County jail pending a review of the case by prosecutors.
