Kansas City police investigate after man is shot
Kansas City police are investigating a shooting that left a man with serious injuries.
The incident at 80th Street and Troost Avenue was reported at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. The victim, who is in his mid-20s, told police that he was shot a block away and then ran to a convenience store for help.
Officers found the man covered with blood. A single gunshot had grazed him in the neck. He was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
Police had no description of the shooter.
