The FBI investigated a bank robbery Saturday at a U.S. Bank location in a Price Chopper store at 1030 W. 103rd St. in Kansas City.

The robbery was reported about 3:50 p.m., the FBI said, after a young woman in a purple hoodie gave a bank teller a demand note and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The FBI described the robber as being about 23 years old, 5-foot-1, white, with a slender build, acne and dark blonde hair. She did not show the teller a weapon, and no injuries were reported.
