Commerce Bank robbed in Kansas City
A man held up the Commerce Bank branch at 61st Street and Troost Avenue on Tuesday afternoon and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robbery was reported at 12:25 p.m. The robber handed the teller a note demanding money. He did not show a weapon but kept one hand in a pocket during the robber. Afterward, he was seen heading north on foot.
Police were searching the area.
Kansas City police did not have a detailed description of the robber.
