KC robbery suspects pick bad spot to hide out
Two armed robbery suspects made it easy for Kansas City police to find them.
Officers looking for a car that had just been reported stolen late Friday night spotted the vehicle pull into the parking lot of an apartment building next door to the department’s Central Patrol Division at 1200 E. Linwood Blvd.
The suspects got out of the car and went into the apartment building. Officers went inside. After checking several apartments, they found the suspects in a third floor apartment.
They also found property belonging to the victim of the robbery, which had occurred in the 1700 block of E. 12th Terrace, in the apartment where they arrested the two suspects.
