Man uses note to rob grocery store bank
Federal authorities are investigating the robbery of the US Bank branch inside a Lee’s Summit grocery store.
The hold up took place just after 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Price Chopper in the 300 block of Southwest Blue Parkway. Investigators said a man gave a bank teller a note demanding money. The robber fled on foot with undisclosed amount of cash.
He is described as a white male with a dark complexion, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build. He wore a dark winter cap, dark clothing and sunglasses.
