Police investigate double homicide at Kansas City, Kan., cemetery
The deaths of two men found Thursday morning on the grounds of a Kansas City, Kan., cemetery are being investigated as a double homicide.
The men suffered apparent gunshot wounds, police said. Their identities had not been released Thursday morning.
Someone walking by the area on the northeast side of Memorial Park Cemetery called police just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday to report finding two bodies in a grassy area near the 1200 block of Esplanade Street, police said.
The cemetery is about halfway between Quindaro Boulevard and the Missouri River.
