Raytown teen is accused of making and distributing child porn

A child pornography investigation that began in Boston has led to charges being filed against an 18-year-old Raytown man.

Federal prosecutors in Kansas City charged Cody Lee Davidson with taking pornographic pictures of a 7-year-old girl he knew and distributing them on the Internet.

Investigators in Boston first found the images online. With the help of law enforcement officials overseas, they were able to identify Davidson as the person who allegedly uploaded the images, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court in Kansas City

A search warrant was served at Davidson’s house Tuesday. Agents found more than 100 still and video images of child pornography on his cellphone, according to the documents.
