KCK man is convicted of murder in shooting death of woman
A 30-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was convicted Friday in a March 2015 shooting that left a woman dead and a man critically injured.
Scottie Lindsay was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of Melinda Bates-Fuller, 37, who was found shot inside a home in the 800 block of North 70th Street last March 19.
Lindsay was also convicted of the attempted second-degree murder of a man who was critically injured in the same incident.
Lindsay is scheduled to be sentenced March 4.
