Missouri trooper arrests man wanted on 29 warrants
The Missouri Highway Patrol on Thursday arrested a man wanted on 29 misdemeanor warrants, including possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest.
Luis Michael Pagan, 31, was taken into custody just after 3 a.m. in the 10600 block of North Ambassador Drive in Platte County, said Sgt. Collin Stosberg, a patrol spokesman.
It was the second time this week Pagan fled during a traffic stop. On Thursday, he was pulled over by Ferrelview police and ran. A Missouri trooper arrested Pagan a few minutes later.
Authorities believed that Pagan was armed. However, the trooper did not find any weapons after arresting him as he tried to flee, Stosberg said.
Pagan is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond for resisting arrest in Liberty. He was wanted on 25 Kansas City warrants and two Gladstone warrants.
