Man sentenced in Kansas City, Kan., homicide
A 20-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was sentenced Friday to nine years and nine months in prison in the March 2015 killing of a Kansas City man.
Lakorri Terry pleaded guilty in December to second-degree murder in the shooting death of Anthony M. Bush Jr.
Bush, 32, was shot while sitting in a car near 61st Street and Leavenworth Road in Kansas City, Kan.
A second man, 23-year-old Demarkus Campbell-Donnell, also was found guilty of second-degree murder in Bush’s death after a jury trial last month in Wyandotte County District Court.
Sentencing for Campbell-Donnell is scheduled for Feb. 12.
