Raytown man faces child porn allegations

Federal prosecutors have accused a Raytown man of distributing child pornography online just months after FBI agents seized his previous computers in a similar, ongoing investigation.

James Anthony Bee, 48, was arrested Monday after fighting with police and federal agents who served a search warrant at his home in the new case, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court in Kansas City.

When investigators first searched Bee’s home in August, they found about 1,000 child pornography images, according to court documents. They still were in the process of searching seized computers when they learned he allegedly had bought new equipment, obtained more child pornography and was distributing it, the documents allege.

Investigators served a second search warrant Monday. Bee refused to cooperate and kicked one Raytown officer before being subdued, according to the documents.
